What not to do...
I know that we will get to the "how not to use" portion of our class, but I just wanted to bring a few items up to make sure our presentations are the most affective. First, do not have a paragraph on the screen. Bullet points of one to three words is best. Give the main ideas, but not necessarily a full sentence. Second, when you are using a picture as your background, make sure that the photo does not distract from your text. Sometimes it is hard to read the text over the photo. These are just a few things that I have seen in the past from different presenters. A hard to read/understand presentation actually takes away from you as a presenter. Just a thought.
